WHAT WATER TO DRINK ON THE GO?

Tuesday 08/07/2025

"The book 'How to Eat, Move and Be Healthy!' by Paul Chek suggests that we should be drinking waters that 'have a hardness factor of 170mg/L or greater and a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of 300 or greater.' So if you purchase bottled water make sure to check the label. If the water you're purchasing has less than that, all you need to do is add a pinch of sea salt for every litre.

But not all salt is equal!

Make sure to use unprocessed sea salt. Paul Chek says: 'Celtic, French or New Zealand are good sources'. You can get Selina Naturally Celtic Sea Salt here or at health food shops.

If you're on the go and are trying your best to stay hydrated, 'some of the top quality brands are: Evian, Volvic, Vittel, Fiji and Trinity'.

Ideally water should be stored in glass and in a dark cool place. Avoid water from' smoky plastic containers' as they release unhealthy chemicals into the water.
